Wish i could give 5 stars because this is a Great product with Great Green color! It Gave Great results to my dead looking lawn. The problem was after completing 75% of the project my pump sprayer started clogging up. Eventually it clogged completely,unable to spray. I had to buy a new hand pump to finish the lawn. The product could also be a Big messy mess if you dont plan properly. You Dont want to walk in the path of anything already sprayed. You also need to make sure you Do not accidentally spray anything except the grass because you wont be able to remove this Dye. If you have a Large lawn do the math on how many gallons you will need because this product is Expensive!My grass was struggling a little bit with the summer heat. My irrigation wasn't able to keep up. I followed the directions and put this in my backpack sprayer. My neighbor was asking me what I did to make my grass look so good.See tge Before, During, and, and 3 Weeks After photos.Definitely pay attention to the videos that tell you to use cardboard or plastic on the areas you don’t want oversprayed. We had a few oops on our sidewalk and had to scrub them off, but other than that it was very simple to use and worked very effectively. Once we got the hang of just putting a piece of cardboard on our sidewalk and moving it as we painted it was easy.I accidentally killed my lawn by mixing pre emergent with 24D and fertilizer. Should of just applied the pre emergent, watered it in then applied the other chemicals a few days later. Any how, I can't re seed cause its summer plus I put down pre emergent so grass paint to the rescue. I ordered 2 gallons. One had a leak and lost a quart or so. Thankfully they bag the jugs so it was contained. I filed a claim and another gallon was shipped right away for no charge. I used a 25 gallon tank mounted to my lawn tractor with a 12 volt pump, 30 feet of hose and a trigger gun with an adjustable nozzle. This stuff goes down beautifully. I mixed 5 batches 5 gallons at a time at the recommended mix rate. So it was 40 ounces of concentrate to 5 gallons of water. My side yard and front yard are about 5000 square feet. I'm very pleased with the appearance. Now lets see how it holds up. If I can get 3 - 4 months I will be a happy camper cause I can power seed in the fall. So far I'm impressed by the product and the service is great. ***As a side note, I worked in the paint business for over 20 years. I remember when you got our better quality paints on your skin and specially around your finger nail, it took a long time to get rid of the staining from it. Well...its been about a week since I sprayed my lawn and there are still traces of green paint around my finger nails. And I've scrubbed the hell out of them. A good sign for the durability of this product.A lot of people gave me strange looks when I applied this but afterwards they all said it looks great. I’m really happy with the result. Especially from a distance you can’t tell it’s painted at all. Up close it’s clear that it’s painted. This is the second brand I’ve used and it didn’t clog the nozzle at all whereas the other one did. I’ll be buying this again next season to add to my yearly routine.I purchased this turf paint to spray my front yard lawn that I stopped watering two months earlier. (April 2021) I also bought a back pack sprayer and it worked great. I don't recommend trying to do a large area with a hand sprayer that you have to pump. It took me 5.5 hours and I was grateful to have the back pack so I could pump with my arm. The lawn looked great for about six months and then okay for three more until the rain encouraged the weeds to grow. It looked so good even the water company thought it was artificial grass. I did two large areas (roughly 1700 sq feet) with one gallon using as directed and had a little left over. At the time I purchased two gallons fearing I would run out, however, I didn't need the second gallon. Now, a year later, I'm going to use the 2nd gallon and spray the front again. I found a 3 gallon electric sprayer cart on wheels at Costco that I'll use this time to save my arm and back. My only tip is to be careful with overspray-it doesn't come off cement completely. I used cardboard on the borders to keep the product from staining the walkway and driveway. I highly recommend this product. From my photos you'll see the results.This stuff is awesome. I used the dark green and love it. I will use yearly. Great summer addition to lawn care regimen to allow grass to go dormant and still look great.After spray dried I raked the grass. This exposed some of the yellowing grass underneath. I preferred this as it looked more natural.Highly recommend to use a backpack sprayer… (HarborFreight - $30) also use the sprayer with water first on dry concrete before mixing with dye.Watch your over spray (EVERYTHING IT TOUCHES WILL BE STAINED!)Wear gloves and non porous work shoesBe prepared to answer questions about water usage (because how else could your grass be so green)…I’m in CA and we deal with drought and wildfires so water waste can be controversialI save a LOT OF WATER ANDTIME in lawn care
