So the plastic guide you use to position the stone just shreds and tears up too easy. It's a decent sharpening stone and as long as you don't let the plastic disc touch the blade it would work well.I had two that were not connected to the guard so they freely spun I may have to take it off and re-glue itWorked well for my blade. Sharpened with no problem. Great valueThe plastic guard melts if you spin the sharpener to fast and the stone does not cut the metal fast enough.My 3 mower blades On zero turn are frozen on. This saved me from taking my mower to mechanic to pull blades & sharpen. I normally sharpen my own. These drill attachments don’t sharpen as well or quickly as bench grinder but When u include the time it takes to remove & reinstall blades to use bench grinder, these drill attachment sharpeners are nice alternative. I’ve sharpened blades 3 times now (lot of rocks in yard) & am still using first stone. I’m guessing I’ll get at least 8 to 12 sharpening of my 3 blades with each drill bit. So that is 24 to 36 blades sharpened per stone maybe more???This is my first time trying a Lawn Mower Blade Sharpener instead of doing it the hard way and I was surprised how easy it was to do. The sharpening is not going to be comparable to using an angle grinder but it was enough for maintenance. The plastic on the product gets in the way at times but not a big issue as I view this not as a long time permanent tool.The first wheel (out of a pack of 6) was so wobbly I couldn't even get it close to the mower blade. The guide wheel was not aligned properly with the grinding wheel. They would need to be exactly parallel to each other to work. Not even close. I returned them.plastic guide needs to be metal
