I had been using a corded electric for the last several years, but I was getting tired of lugging around a 100 foot extension chord. Our yard is kinda large for a sub-division lot, but we have added MANY flower beds over the years, so actual ‘lawn’ area is smaller than originally sodded.I had my eye on one of the 40V Ryobi but they are going for around $350.I decided to try this ‘SnapFresh’ model due to the price point. Here is what I found:Yeah, it is LIGHT. It only cuts a 14 inch swath, and could use more power.BUT:It’s a breeze to push around, and in Florida’s heat, that’s a great feature. If your grass has gotten too tall, you will have to take it slowly. But it is maneuverable! Even with our multiple flower beds It is easy to maneuver around stuff.Expect to work a little slower perhaps than you would with a gas mower, but it is much more like”a walk in the park”.Buy extra batteries, keeping one on the charger at all times is a good idea.Now the bad things:Using the bagger attachment can be annoying. It is held on by gravity, and if you lift the front of the mower to turn the bag does come off. Make sure you keep the wheel spacers on- the wheels are spring mounted, and it’s easy to have a wheel shift to the other setting if you get too rough. So keep the spacer in place. Those are the only design flaws I have experienced over the last three months.At 69 years of age, something lighter and more manageable are great features!I have a front lawn and no back lawn and this little guy does surprisingly well especially for the price. My neighbors asked me about it when they saw me carrying it with two fingers, firing it up with a button push and finishing my lawn in 20 minutes.AFTER I PUT IT TOGETHER (WHICH WAS VERY QUICK); I WAS CONCERNED.... IT FELT SO LIGHT TO ME, THAT I THOUGHT THAT I BOUGHT MYSELF A TOY MOWER...I DECIDED OF COURSE TO GIVE IT A TRY... I CHARGED THE BATTERY FOR 2 HOURS .....I WANTED TO SEE HOW LONG THE BATTERY WOULD LAST....I STARTED MOWING MY BACK YARD( WHICH USUALLY TAKES ME 45 MINUTES).... I GOT STARTED AND THE BATTERY LASTED ME 21 MINUTES BEFORE NEEDING A RECHARGE.....THE MOWER, EVEN THOUGH IT IS SMALL AND LIGHT, DID A REALLY NICE JOB EVEN WITH THE GRASS BEING A LITTLE LONGER THAN USUAL..... I AM ALMOST 60 YEARS OLD SO I APPRECIATED THE LIGHT NESS OF THE MOWER----BUT THEN I WENT TO AMAZON TO BUY A SECOND BATTERY....OVERALL BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!!!I really love this lawn mower it does everything I do charge it like every 3 hours It does wonderful in my gardening cuts grass it's beautiful I love it I have another one similar as that 1 but it's a little bit wider and a little bit bigger but I love both of them matter whatThis is easy to put together easy to use the battery last long enough for me to actually mow the yard twice if I need to I absolutely love this it has made my life so much easierLove my gadget. Just arrived need 2 day. It lasted almost an hour in an yard with highway grass. It is ? season along with storms and even an earthquake so my yard has suffered since Father’s Day. My landscaper went Mia. But now I have independence. Trust me in 57 years I only tried to mow a lawn 1.5 time maximum. I love outside work but Pop was old school. But in the last hour I feel no fatigue nor any sore muscles. Yes my feet are tingling but I have a nice size yard around 3500 sq feet at least that my roof size and all the property around goes down so that makes it easy to maintain straight line. On Break and will update after a few more trips.update (mower if great love the option of catching grass no more raking after lawn is mowed). Advise you get two batteries ? because battery dies before my energy with one). This puppy is easier to manipulate than my vacuum)!). I do love ? my little gadgetIt is nice an narrow to get further into small spots. Cuts right to the edge. I haven’t needed to do the extra weed whacking with this.Very comfortable light weight. The battery has sufficient charge to mow my entire yard. The primary limitation is the 14” cut. It takes a lot of walking back and forth to get a small yard mowed. Wish the wheels had greater ability to be adjusted.
