This is a cheap foreign mower that performs fairly well. I haven't really had any issues with how it cuts or maneuvers, my only gripe is that the back wheels are JUNK. The first time I took it out to mow, the right rear plastic wheel completely snapped off from the housing around the bolt after three passes. The left rear wheel lasted two more mowings, and then had the same fate. They're just cheap plastic wheels that probably have design flaws, so don't expect much longevity.Also, don't expect PowerSmart to help, their customer service support is pretty worthless, and they'll ask you to ship back the entire mower to replace two wheels. Do yourself a favor, go to Menards, and buy a couple replacement ones in advance and you'll be set.I have owned a few mowers throughout the years and this one is hardest to start even after priming it 3 times with the bulb.After starting it vibrates like a wild horse. When quitting the engine struggles to stop after around 5 seconds. Grass is even cut, pushing it around is average. Thus 3 stars.I am not happy with this purchase. The wheels are so light. They blocked when used first timeThe lawnmower arrived with no oil to put in mower. Started mower & mowed for less than 10 when mower started wobbling. Killed mower & started inspecting to find both rear wheels are cracked (one severely). This was on Saturday so today Monday I have tried to contact customer service at Ameri Sun Inc twice to no one answering & listening to horrible music for 45 minutes the first time & an hour the second time. I am not a happy customer just want wheels replaced but may end up having to return lawnmower to Amazon for a full refund.I’m having several problems with this lawnmower I recently purchased. First of all it didn’t come with oil although the product photo shows that it does. Once I put oil in it and started it the first time the back panel where you attach the grass clipping back shot off and it took me about 30 minutes to get it back on and I’m not sure I was able to reattach it correctly. The front height adjustment does not work at all and falls to the lowest level no matter what I do. And finally the second time I used it the cutting blade started making a weird noise and it appears to be bent. I’ve only used it to cut grass and I’ve never had issues of this nature with any other lawn mower in my yard. Currently I don’t feel the lawnmower can be safely operated. I reached out to the company and was told my issues were “well documented” and that someone would reach out to me about repairs but I’ve heard nothing since. There’s a reason this lawnmower is the lowest price point in the market.Took me 15 min to assemble. Put the oil in a little gas pumped the primer 3 times pulled the starter rope 3 times and it started right up. Took it to my over grown grass I couldn't mow for my electric mower stopped. The grass was about 6 inches and this little 21 inch mower just went to town. I forgot how powerful gas is compared to electric. I am very happy and glad I bought this powersmart mower. I don't have a big lawn so one might want get one with a bigger basket for a big lawn. For me the basket was perfect. Grass blew in and stayed in. I don't know why some people said the grass blew out? I didn't have that happen.Peace is breaking and falling apart from the first time I used it.The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars are because the wheels could have better grips and the bag needs to be able to stay attached better when debris gets in the way as compared to other mowers I have had. Otherwise, it performs really well. The mulching capability is awesome.
