That's why GreenWorks backs every tool with a full four-year warranty - we know our products will perform at the highest level and always be reliable. We'll provide all the power you need without polluting the air or forcing you to keep hauling your gas can to the nearest station (especially in the middle of a mow). No more tune-ups or maintenance. No more emissions. Fifty-four million Americans mow their lawns every weekend, according to the EPA, using 800 million gallons of gas each year. Along the way, homeowners spill more than 17 million gallons of gas while refueling. That's equivalent to the 1989 Exxon Valdez disaster. It's time to move beyond clumsy, harmful gas-powered mowers. It's time for GreenWorks to be your lawn tools for life.

I was pleased. I rent, and unlike rentals I've had in the past, I'm on the hook for landscaping. I hate yardwork and put it off as long as I can get away with for the most part. Well, I needed to mow, and my schedule (as well as my hatred of hot summer days) prevented me from mowing midday, so I needed something quiet that would take down some pretty thick growth.I was skeptical, but this mower was affordable and shipped quickly, so I figured, "Hey, if I have to recharge a couple times to finish the yard, that's fine." BUT I DIDN'T. This thing cut down the thick garbage like a champ, and did the whole yard on a charge without a hiccup. It's very much plastic, and I wouldn't leave it in the sun all year (every see sun-cracked patio furniture?). I doubt this is going to last a super-long time (My dad has the same gas mower from 1993, I'm not expecting that). But it works really well. The ONLY realistic short-term downside is that the bag size is relatively small, and needs to be emptied often. But I'm pleased and pleasantly surprised with this mowers ability given the price.Having recently moved into a new home with a small yard, I was looking for a lawnmower that was budget friendly.. The battery operated mowers looked promising and was less messier than dealing with the gas mowers...But there are a few problems that you need to keep in mind... The 2 biggest issues are:1 - Running time... My yard is not too big, bad the batteries last about 30 mins until they die out.. That is about enough time to mow my front yard. Then having to wait several hours to mow the backyard was a little bit of a hassle. I would have preferred a mower that I can cut both front and backyards without a long delay in the middle.2 - Power.. Since this was the 1st cutting of the year, there were some places in the yard where the grass was 5-6 inches tall.. This mower struggled with the taller grass and at many times died because it didn’t have to torque to keep going... Then I would have to back the mower up, shake out the loose grass and start it up again... Never had this issue with the gas mowers that I have owned in the past.Overall, the mower is good if you cut your grass weekly and have a small yard.. Otherwise, it will become more of a chore to cut the grass if it is too tall or you have a larger backyard.Recently bought a house in April and didn't have a mower so I ordered this not expecting much because it wasn't the most expensive and it's an order from Amazon vs going to a trusted hardware retailer like Home Depot or Lowes. It was easy to put together and works like a charm, every single time. My only gripe is the battery life. I can maybe get my whole backyard and part of the front yard done before I need to recharge the stock batteries that came with it. Other than that, it'll do the job and do it mighty well. Highly recommend. You drop the charged batteries in, it starts and it mows. What’s not to like. It’s light weight, easy to maneuver. It does a good job of mulching, no quite as good as a gas mower, but adequate, and a lot easier to start. The only issue I had is with the duel charger. The one that came with the mower only worked on one side, but a call to customer service and they had a free replacement on its way within a few days. I appreciate the friendliness and helpful attitude of the customer service people that I dealt with. They did a great job. The charger is the reason I gave it 4 star rating rather than a 5 star rating.Mows well, very quiet, lightweight. Best feature is the push button start! I love that. No more yanking or pulling your shoulder out. The downsides are the battery life and small deck size. At 17 inches vs. my 21 inch gas mower it takes a bit longer to mow my medium sized yard. But it is capable of mowing a small to medium yard on a fully charged battery, about 40 or 45 minutes. Overall a really good mower so far!!Pros:-easy to put together out of the box-fairly sturdy frame and wheels-inexpensive-can adjust grass cutting height-enough power to do the job-decently wide cutting widthCons:-managing the cord sometimes gets annoying but at least you don’t have to worry about running out of juiceLighter and easier to push than my gas powered mower, does the job well and quieter, takes about an hour or two to charge. Easy and quick height adjustment.Battery life is the common concern for cordless mowers. Liked it too much as it does the job well. Probably giving you 5 stars if that is just the criteria. But as what other reviews are saying, they are giving it low rating because i even bought a couple of backup batter to to extend my mowing for another 30 more minutes. If you're a pro and can mow faster than i do you might be able to use it but for me who is not really used to that, i would definitely say to buy a bigger sized mower. They might have same battery life but at least it can cover a larger amount in your lawn compare to this guy right here.I purchased a Greenworks 48 volt 17” mower MO48B2210 on May1, 2021. One year later and the 2 - 24 volt batteries will no longer hold any charge. When brand new, I was able to mow for approximately 30 minutes before needing to charge them. Not great but acceptable—I don’t have a large yard. But this year I’ve never gotten more than 10 to 15 minutes and now, after attempting to mow 3 times so far this spring, the batteries are completely useless. I charged them fully per instructions in the manual and they have never been exposed to cold or heat.Greenworks warrantee states that "Greenworks 24V, 40V & 48V products and batteries are protected against all defects in materials, parts or workmanship under normal use for a period of three years (90 days for commercial use) from the shipping date or in-store purchase date.”I have tried repeatedly to contact your customer service but never got through. At 3:15 pm EST today, the message was that your customer service was closed, despite your website stating that it is open until 5pm.J'ai un petit terrain de moins de 5000 pieds carrés. Easy to assemble - easily handles a regular sized yard. The wheels are relatively cheap plastic compared to what you might expect from a gas powered lawn mower so I expect they'll have to be replaced at some point. It's a bit stiff but the quiet cut and lack of gas/oil makes up for it.I'd give it 4 starts but mine was missing the mulching attachment, which is disappointing and frankly not worth my effort to package up and initiate a return for. This is a case where buying locally might be of benefit.I am very impressed...Received around noon, assembled it ( just a few bolts to tighten), charged it (around 2h, and did my front and back lawn in 1 go. I have a pretty small grass area in the back considering that the pool takes a large part of the land, it took about 30 minutes in total. Would not recommend for large areas unless you are welling to pay for extra batteries or do it in sections between charges (am/pm or day 1/day 2).It is also pretty quiet compared to a gas lawn mower. I could still hear the noise in the surrounding area. I am pretty noise sensitive, and it did not disturb me. Even a vacuum is louder than this lawn mower. It cut the grass nicely, an event with all sorts of weeds mixed in the lot. I am in a bit in the countryside and the grass is not as pretty as the one you find in the city.Just be careful, it cut the grass pretty low… I would suggest starting at a higher level and go your way down to find your right fit. Let’s say that my front lawn is pretty short right now hahahaOther than that… I saw somewhere that to help with the lifespan of the batteries and using time, to let them get cool after you remove them from the charger and before you use them or when you are done using them to let them cool before to put them on the charger. It took about 30 minutes for me. I thought it was some great advice and if its help… Why not!Grass was super long..lastvyear bought battery weedwacker and leaf blower.....hate working with gas ...this mower my son and I are fighting over...super easy to assemble(comes 80% assembled)...very lightweight...it is noisy but no more than gas mower...bought the 48volt...so 2 batteries....did our entire front and side yard...next time will be even easier as grass will not be long...the bag is small and easy to empty...love..love...reducing pollution and no cord are also very important...
